Prof. Soumendra Mohan Patnaik
Prof. Soumendra Mohan Patnaik is an anthropologist of international repute with specialization in Globalization, Development, Tourism and Tribal studies. After obtaining Ph.D. from University of Delhi, he has been Fulbright. Nehru visiting fellow at Virginia Tech University, USA. Prof Patnaik has been teaching Social Anthropology for more than three decades at the University of Delhi. l le has been honoured with numerous awards and fellowships. 1 le is currently the President of Indian Anthropological Association. 1 le was also the member of Governing Body of Sri Ram College of Commerce, University of Delhi, and former Vice-Chancellor of Utkal University and Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology.
Prof.(Dr.) K.P. Singh
Prof. KP Singh, currently working as Professor, Department of Library and Information Science, Director, Gandhi Bhawan, President of Delhi Library Association and treasurer of Governing Body at Aditi Mahavidhayala, University of Delhi. He is a prolific writer and researcher. He authored 14 books, 18 edited books, 190 research papers, and successfully guided 14 Ph.D. theses, 35M.Phil dissertations, and more than 160 PG Project. He successfully completed three Major Research Projects funded by DRDO and UGC as Principal Investigator. He is also actively engaged ad Editor/ Joint Editor/ Member, Editorial Board of various national and international Peer -Reviewed Research Journal of Knowledge Content Development and Technology, South Korea. He is also a VC Nominee as member, Vikshit Bharat @2027 Run(24 April 2024-), Convener, Student Support and Progression- Sub-Committee of IQAC/NAAC , University of Delhi.
Prof. Manju Mukul Kamble
मंजू मुकुल कांबले, वर्तमान में दिल्ली विश्वविद्यालय के हिंदी विभाग में प्रोफेसर के रूप में कार्यरत हैं. इन्होने "आधुनिक हिन्दी साहित्य , अनुवाद , मीडिया, भाषा-अध्ययन , दलित -साहित्य आदि विषयों पर लगभग ग्यारह पुस्तकें तथा विभिन्न शोध - जनरल व पत्र - पत्रिकाओं में शोध आलेख प्रकाशित किया हैं । प्रमुख पुस्तकें:-

Prof. Arun Jagannath
Professor Arun Jagannath is a Faculty at the Department of Botany, University of Delhi. After completing his B.Sc.(Hons.) – Botany from Hansraj College, University of Delhi, he did his M.Sc. in Biotechnology from Madurai Kamaraj University followed by a Ph.D. in Genetics from University of Delhi South Campus. He completed a Certificate Program in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology from IIT, Delhi and NIIT in 2005. He worked at the Centre for Genetic Manipulation of Crop Plants, University of Delhi South Campus as a Research Scientist from 1999 – 2007 before moving to the Department of Botany, University of Delhi. His research areas include transgenic technology for crop improvement, crop genetics and genomics.
Prof. Ranjan Kumar Tripathi
Prof. Ranjan Tripathi, currently working as professor, Department of Sanskrit, Faculty of Arts, University of Delhi. He was nominated as Dean Student's Welfare(D.S.W.) and also Joint Dean of Colleges. He was an Assistant professor at Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Vanarasi and Bundelkhand University (Jhansi). He has published 10 books, 44 research papers and participated in various international and national conferences/ webinars. He has 5 prestigious awards and invited as Judge/ Ph.D. Viva.
Prof. Pamela Singla
Dr. Pamela Singla, is Professor and Former Head at Department of Social Work (DSW), University of Delhi (DU). She has a teaching experience of 33 years and some of her areas of teaching include Social Work Education, Gender Studies, Corporate Social Responsibility, Research, Unorganized Sector and Social Policy. Her research has explored various issues of concern particularly related to women. She is the former Provost and Warden, International Students House for Women, DU. Prof. Singla is an elected ‘Member-at-Large’ of the Board of Directors of the renowned international body called International Association of Schools of Social Work (IASSW). Presently, she is the Chairperson Satyawati College, DU. Singla was honored by her alma mater Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) with distinguished Alumni Award, 2020 and by Women’s Economic Forum for Exemplary Women Award, 2022.
Prof. Punam Bedi
Punam Bedi is working as a Senior Professor in the Department of Computer Science, University of Delhi since July 2018. She was the Head of Department of Computer Science, University of Delhi during Oct. 2005 - Oct 2008. She is a member of Value Addition Courses Committee (NEP 2020) She is mainly working in the area of designing and developing intelligent systems. Her areas of Research interests include Artificial Intelligence, Recommender Systems, Semantic Web, Software Engineering, Digital Image Processing, Neural Networks, Deep Learning, Intrusion Detection Systems, Computer Networks, Steganography and Steganalysis. Twenty research students have completed and six students are pursuing their Ph.D. under her guidance.
Prof. Prabhat Mittal
Prabhat Mittal is a Professor in the Department of Business Data Processing & Management, at Satyawati College (Eve.), University of Delhi (India). He holds a doctoral degree from the Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), University of Delhi, and has published many research articles in the fields of supply chain management, quantitative finance, and big data analytics. He was a postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering, University of Minnesota (USA). He has also been an associate fellow of Indian Institute of Advanced Studies (IIAS), Shimla. His current research interests include big data, learning analytics, public administration, healthcare supply chain, econometric modeling and high frequency data.
Prof. Pushp Kumar
Prof. Pushpa Kumar Lakshmanan, Senior Assistant professor of Law, Faculty of Law. University of Delhi. He has Post-Doctoral Research (as Fulbright Scholar), Harvard Law school, USA. He has been a Biosafety Expert in INTERNATIONAL ROSTER OF EXPERTS fir the Biosafety Clearing House., under the Cartagena Protocol on Biosafety to the convention on Biological diversity. Also, He represented India as an Official Indian Delegation Memberin the COP11-MOP6. He has worked with M.S. Swaminathan in drafting the Women Farmers' Entitlement and Empowerment Bill, 2011. He was suggested a Model Law for making"Climate Risk Management Act, 2008".
Prof. Manoj Sinha
Prof. Manoj Sinha has earned his master’s, M.Phil., and Ph.D. degree from the University of Delhi. He was awarded "Education Abroad Programme Scholarship" by the University of California, Berkeley. He has researched and taught several subjects like public policy, public administration and Gandhian thought. A person with more than three decades of academic experience, he has been the principal of Aryabhatta College since 2014. His educational philosophy is based the belief of providing a positive learning environment, committed educational team and an encouraging community to build an orbit of 360 degree excellence. He has contributed to academia as an author, teacher, and public administration trainer to officers of government departments.
Prof. Saloni Gupta
Dr. Saloni Gupta is a professor in the Department of commerce, Bharati College, University of Delhi . She did her post graduation and doctorate from Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi. She has teaching experience of more than 25 years, including teaching the PG students at the Department of Finance and Business Economics, University of Delhi. Her area of specialisation is Finance wherein she has supervised doctoral researches apart from authoring more than a dozen research papers in reputed journals indexed in Springer and Scopus.
Prof. Om Nath Bimali
Om Nath Bimali earned his Masters and doctoral degrees from the University of Delhi,
respectively, in 1991 and 1995.He has 30 years of undergraduate and postgraduate teaching
experience. He has been teaching at several centers of Delhi University . He has been a full
professor from 2011. He holds the position of the Director of The Centre for Hindu Studies
at the University of Delhi .
He is the Head of the Department of Sanskrit at Delhi
University. His areas of interest and specialization include Paninian Grammar, Indian
Philosophy of Language and Indian Philosophical schools.
He has several publications to his credit .
He also worked at the Centre of Advanced
Study in Sanskrit ( CASS) ,University of Pune as Associate Professor for two years. He was
visiting Professor at the Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, Seoul ,Korea for 3
years.
He was incharge, of the Department of Sanskrit at South Delhi Campus during 2021
to 2022.
He was a member and Chairman of the governing body of SPM COLLEGE, University of Delhi.
Dr Geeta Rani Bindal
Dr Geeta Rani Bindal is an Associate Professor in the Department of English, University of Delhi. She has a vast experience of 38 years of teaching to UG and PG students. She has delivered lectures in various universities of repute to postgraduate and PhD students. She has anchored, analysed, presented papers, chaired Sessions and concluded many international and national seminars. She has published more than a dozen papers in international journals and she has two books to her credit from International platform.
Prof.(Dr.) Priya Kanwars
I have been teaching in the University of Delhi since the last 26 years. My areas of interest are mental health, counseling, gerontology, organizational behavior and positive psychology. I have published books, many research papers and 60 modules in E-Pathshala, a prestigious project on e-learning at post graduate level. An initiative of the Ministry of Human Resource Development under its National Mission on Education through ICT (NME-ICT) executed by the UGC. I have also written many chapters for text books. I have presented many research papers in this area both in India and abroad.
Prof. Divya Tiwari
Currently a tenure faculty at Department of Philosophy,ZHDC , DU. Area of interest includes Ethics, Applied Ethics, Political Philosophy, Logic, Critical thinking and Ethical decision making.Interest in interpreting and highlighting the issues of ethics from the Indian Scriptures. Applying philosophy to existing concerns of human life both apparent and subtle is one of the evolving features of the subject which continuously engages my mind. Keen interest in Yoga and meditation. Optimistic about orienting young minds towards the values of yoga and meditation to bring out the best in them. Believe in exploring with sincerity and commitment in the academic journey .
Prof. Rajni Sahni
Dr. Rajni Sahni is a Professor in the Psychology department, Daulat Ram College, at the University of Delhi. She has been a part of the faculty since 1996. Dr. Sahni , after completing M.A and M.Phil. in Psychology was also awarded PhD in Psychology from the University of Delhi. Dr. Sahni has been involved in various administrative positions at Daulat Ram College, including Coordinator of IQAC, Nodal Officer of VAC, Secretary of Staff Council, and Convener of various committees such as ICC, Mental Health Centre, and Counselling Centre. Her areas of expertise in teaching include Clinical Psychology, Mental health, Cognitive Psychology, Research Methodology, and Developmental Psychology. Dr. Sahni has guided several PhD students in their research work and has a few more working under her guidance in the area of clinical psychology. Her publications span a diverse range of subjects , including developing intervention techniques for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Dyslexia, adults showing self-harm behaviour and for patients with Parkinson’s disease. She has also been working in the area of well-being and mental heath of caregivers of children with intellectual disability as also of the well-being and coping skills of of dual earner females. She also has to her credit an e-book on ‘Developmental Psychology’ for PG students that was brought out under the UGC project, e-pathshala.
Prof. Sandhya Garg
Dr. Sandhya Garg is a Professor in Department of Hindi, Janki Devi Memorial College at Delhi University. Her area of specialisations are Adhunik Katha sahitya , lok sahitya and bhakti kavya. Published three books (author) eight books (edited) two poetry collections and one translated book and more than 50 papers presented in national international conferences, 20 articles in journals, and 15 articles in edited books.
Dr. Shashi Rani
An ardent student and a media enthusiast, Prof. Shashi Rani has over 30 years of
experience in teaching, researching, and mentoring students. As an acclaimed
academic teacher, she is currently the coordinator of “Hindi Patrkarita Evam
Jansanchar” with the Department of Hindi at Bhim Rao Ambedkar College, University of
Delhi. A good teacher is always a brilliant student, which resonates with the persona of
Dr. Shashi Rani, as she has completed all her degrees with significant grades from our
own prestigious Delhi University. Her PhD holds potent importance in the field of the
Indian Knowledge System and its innate relation to folklore and folk culture. The key
components of her work include a deep understanding of Hindi literature and folk
traditions. However, to hone her skills, she also got a postgraduate degree in mass
communication from Kurukshetra University.
She has authored a book named
"Pragratisheel Kavita me Lok Tatva" and various in-book chapters and 30 scholarly
articles in reputed peer-reviewed journals. Her area of expertise lies in mass media and
Hindi literature. She has been invited to speak as a plenary speaker at various
workshops and seminars. She has conducted various national and international
seminars and workshops. With sincere teaching skills and expertise in the fields of
mass communication and Hindi literature. She has been one of the members of the
HJMC course development committee for undergraduate students at the Department of
Hindi, University of Delhi.
Presently, she is a course coordinator and
developer for VAC “Sahitya Sanskirti and Cinema” at Delhi University. She commits to
serving her students with the utmost dedication and diligence.
Prof. Priti Rishi Lal
An alumna of DU, she started her career as a
junior scientific officer at the Sports Authority
of India, MYAS. Her Phd was a pioneering work on
Sports Nutrition in India. She moved to Lady Lrwin
College, contributed towards various core and
value added courses and papers in Sports Nutrition
and fitness & nutrition in DU. She then served as
part of the ICRM/NIN team, to launch the M.SC
Sports Nutrition Programme. Along with Sports and
fitness Nutrition, her passion for Indian
Traditional Knowledge has inspired her research
for the past decade that she has published and
presented at national and international fora as
invited and plenary speaker.
Well published
with over 100 publications including books, her
work has been recognized as many awards.
Currently
she is the DU course Coordinator for VAC Ayurveda
and Nutrition for which she has conducted several
hands on workshops for DU faculty and has edited a
book with theory and hands on practical
assignments to facilitate classroom transactions.
Prof. Varsha Gupta
Prof Varsha Gupta , currently the Convenor of English literary association, Presiding officer of the Internal Complaints Committee and Convenor of Gandhi Study circle , is a Professor in the Department of English at Rajdhani College.She has a teaching experience of two decades in D.U. She is also a Course coordinator of VAC course -Ecology and Literature and a member of VAC Steering Committee at University level. Her areas of interest are Indian Writing in English Translation, Indian mythology, Partition Literature,Gandhi, Modernism and Feminist writings .She has presented several papers in national and international Conferences.She has one book to her credit , published five chapters in different books and more than twenty research papers in reputed journals .
Capt. Parminder Sehgal
Maj. Parminder Sehgal is an Associate Professor and ANO at BNC University of Delhi, associated with NCC since 1999. She has organized numerous events, coordinated university events and has been part of University committees, received several awards, including the National Teachers Award in 2023 and Silver Medal in the NCC Refresher Course in May 2024 at NCC OTA Gwalior. Her contributions encompass cultural festivals, University activities, mentorship, and educational program implementation.
Prof. Sandeep Tiwari
Prof. Sandeep Tiwari, Principal (officiating), Professor, IGIPESS, University of Delhi. He is an outstanding Volleyball player, member of various National organisations(Phy.Edu & Volleyball). He has attended several International and National Conferences and published number of research papers. Qualified volleyball refree, Teaching sports Training and volleyball. He has 34 years of Teaching Experience, published various books, guiding pH.D. & M.P.Ed.
Prof. Benu Gupta
Dr. Benu Gupta is Professor & Head, Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, Kirori Mal College, University of Delhi, INDIA. Also, adjunct faculty of Sports Management at different Indian Universities and National Olympic Academies. She was a scholar throughout her academic career and has more than 30 years of experience in teaching, Administration & Research in Physical Education and Sports Sciences. She has co-authored six books, Volunteer Training Manuals and has more than 30 national and international research publications to her credit. She is a Principal investigator & Director of major research projects for University Grants Commission and Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports India. She is a member of the editorial board of national & international research journals. Served as Director of Volunteer Management for Women’s world Boxing Championships 2018 and 2023, OSD South Asian Games 2016 and Commonwealth Games 2010. Member of Board of Directors for World Leisure Organization 2015-2017, Member Expert of Olympic Council of Asia Education Commission 2012-2014, UGC XI-Plan grant allocation of infrastructure & research projects, and Indian Universities AIIU Rule book for sports competitions. She is the Coordinator for OVEP-India and Director for ASMC. She is a Master Trainer & Organizer of Capacity Building of Women Managers in Higher Education, International conferences workshops. She initiated ‘Khelo Prayas’ i.e., first ever annual intercollegiate Para Sports Competitions at University of Delhi. She represented three states and two universities in field hockey, basketball, badminton, football & swimming up to National level. She has also done ‘Visharad’ (Graduate) in Indian Classical Music ‘Sitar’ and has her expertise in Yoga Naturopathy and Indian folk dance as well..
